DJ Fiyo
DJ Fiyo, a self-proclaimed “bar room baby,” is a well-renowned New Orleans native. Having grown up on his father’s eclectic combination of music as a DJ himself, Fiyo has learned to love the diversity of many different combinations of music, all of which became his own therapy as it is his passion.
Fiyo ended up with quite a mixed spectrum of musical influence. Today, this translates into sets where he picks apart and infuses together all the pieces of music that he loves best. As a very active member of his community, Fiyo is no stranger to the music scene. Though he loves playing in nightclubs, barrooms, schools, and special events, his love for music goes beyond the spectrum of mixing tunes. He has found ways to use music to express himself. Fiyo loves to sing and dance as a Mardi Gras Indian Big Chief in the streets of New Orleans. He also performs annually onstage, entertaining thousands of people at the New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival. When he isn’t entertaining, he’s humming to himself, creating sounds and mixes for his next performance. The music never stops for Fiyo.
Diverse in a wide variety of genres, including jazz, soul, funk, R&B, hip hop, country alternative, and rock, there are no limitations to the ability of his entertaining performances. Fiyo can cater to all ages and event types.
He is a trusted and very respected DJ in the New Orleans area.
